In order to achieve the anti-interference reception of spatial multi-stream time-frequency-overlapped signals, Prof. Jin Liang’s team from the National Digital Switching System Engineering Technology Research Center designs the receiver based on a brand-new antenna, the Holo-Entropy Reconfigurable Optimized (HERO) antenna, benefiting from the ultrafast response and reconfigurability of RIS aperture distribution. For the first time, we separate and demodulate the overlapped multi-stream signals via a single HERO antenna. Compared with the receiver using the ordinary antenna, the system takes advantage of the freedom of the HERO antenna to suppress the multi-user interference effectively.
